Born in the sports world of Massachusetts, and then raised in South Florida, Shaye is not as sporty as one might expect. She has probably tried every sport you can think of… keyword being ‘tried’. After running from third to second base in her fourth-grade softball game, it’s safe to say sports are not her thing.

What did stick around was her creativity. From a very young age, Shaye was creating and painting on a computer. She made her first website in the second grade, and the next year sent her first email marketing campaign in an attempt to save the polar bears. She later went on to a technology magnet middle school and took classes from TV Production to Website Design.

As one does, Shaye has dipped her toes in many different career pools ever since. She originally went to school to be a pharmacist, but that’s a whole different story. Most previously, she worked as the Creative Services Manager at Tandem Buzz, a digital marketing agency in South Florida. Shaye worked on all things creative for their clients. Photo, video, landing page creation, ad creation, graphic design, social media content and management, website design, development, etc. This is where the marketing world came into play with her creativity. She learned to apply psychological principles to her design choices, ultimately increasing conversion rates. There was a lot learned at Tandem.

With a passion for branding and website design, Shaye eventually turned her “after-work” hours into working hours, bringing shaye.design to life! After four years at Tandem, shaye.design became her main priority. Running her own business allows her the freedom to choose clients who fuel her creativity and to collaborate with other creatives to ensure her clients reach their goals.
